DED Message

TMSS has been a beacon of health-focused activities since its inception. We believe that sound health is the cornerstone of productivity and progress. With this belief, TMSS has established a number of health & Medical facilities Hospitals, cancer Care Centre, Diabetic Centers, Medical, Dental; and Nursing Colleges etc. TMSS Masuda Maternity Hospital (TMMH) at our head office in Dhaka is one of them.

As an organization that prioritizes women, our primary focus is on the poor and ultra-poor population, especially women. Our aim is to enhance their employment opportunities and livelihoods, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the Government of Bangladesh and the United Nations.

Our initial aim was to provide free or low-cost quality medical treatments and health care services to the urban poor and destitute slum dwellers of the locality by TMMH. Our honorable founder Executive Director of TMSS, extended her unwavering support to further extend the health services to the rural community, especially our group members and their families, and local community people through 91 Primary Health Education & Service Centers (PHE & SC) all over the country under the Health Education and Microfinance (HEM) Grand sector (HGS).

The PHE & SC organizes weekly group meetings with HEM microfinance participants, with paramedical staff, or medical assistants to provide primary health services among the group members, villagers, or community peoples for a nominal fee.

I express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to all of our staff in HEM, PHE≻ and TMMH who are contributing relentlessly to make the mission and vision of TMSS come true. A special thanks to Dr. Fatema Khatun Rima, MD (TMMH) for her continued efforts and committed leadership.

We are grateful to our generous and charismatic leader, our founder Executive Director Prof. Dr. Hosen-Ara Begum as without her interest and valuable support and cooperation, these endeavors would not have been possible.
